Meet Turiya

I became a therapist because I saw too many people stay stuck even when they had insight. They knew their patterns. They could name their wounds. They were still suffering. I wanted to understand what closes that gap, and I've spent the last decade trying to figure it out.

Therapy with me is direct. I'll reflect on what I'm hearing, but I'll also tell you what I notice. I'll ask you to try small things between sessions, not just talk about them. I'll be honest when I think we should change course. The goal isn't for you to feel better in the room, it's for the rest of your week to start feeling different.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, chronic stress, and the relationship patterns that keep showing up. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside and exhausted on the inside, people who hold it all together publicly with very little space to fall apart privately. I see individuals, couples, and families, and I provide clinical supervision for pre-licensed and licensed clinicians in North Carolina.

I draw on CBT, person-centered, and trauma-informed modalities depending on what fits the work in front of us.
