Clinical Supervision

You've done the coursework. You've sat with clients. But the day-to-day reality of becoming a clinician, case conceptualization, intervention choices, ethical gray areas, and the emotional weight of the work, is where supervision actually matters.

That's where I come in.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor (LCMHC, QS) in North Carolina. I provide supervision that meets NCBLCMHC requirements for clinicians working toward independent licensure, as well as consultation for licensed clinicians who want to sharpen their practice.

My Supervision Style

Collaborative, direct, and developmental.

I balance warmth and support with structure, accountability, and actionable feedback. You'll leave each session knowing what to think about, what to try, and where you're growing, not just what you reflected on.

What We'll Work On

Clinical Reasoning Moving from "what should I say next" to a clear, working conceptualization of what's actually happening for your client.

Intervention Selection: Choosing techniques on purpose, knowing why this, why now, and what you'd try if it doesn't land.

Ethics & Edge Cases: Confidentiality, dual relationships, scope of practice, mandated reporting, and the gray areas your textbook didn't cover.

Sustainable Practice: Building a career you can stay in, boundaries, caseload management, burnout prevention, and your evolving professional identity.
